Queen Gedren (Sandahl Bergman) is greedy for power. A magic stone protected by priestesses could give her superhuman powers. Without further ado, she steals the stone and has the guardians killed, including Red Sonja's sister. Red Sonja (Brigitte Nielsen) swears revenge and, after receiving extraordinary powers through a mysterious vision, sets out to destroy the magic stone. Accompanying them on their dangerous mission is the young Prince Tarn (Ernie Reyes Jr.) and his stuttering servant (Paul L. Smith). When she meets the mysterious and powerful Kalidor (Arnold Schwarzenegger), she initially resists his help until she realizes that he is the only one who can match her powers. Will Red be able to stop Sonja Gedren to save the world?
