Eurocult horror and lesbian erotica find their fullest expression in this beautifully-shot genre classic, in which the creative freedom of the 1970s is displayed in full force. Francoise (Mireille Saunin) and Anna (Michele Perello) are two beautiful young women enjoying the French countryside and each other on a road trip, during which they stay the night in an old, isolated house. Upon waking in the morning, Francoise finds Anna's side of the bed empty, and in her search for her friend meets an odd dwarf, Gurth (Alfred Baillou), who promises to take her to Anna. Gurth leads her to the castle of Morgana le Fay (Dominique Delpierre), a contemporary of the mythical wizard Merlin, who endowed her with eternal youth and beauty so long ago. Morgana subsists on the souls of young women unfortunate enough to trespass upon her domain, and it is soon revealed that Anna has fallen prey to her charms. She has agreed to stay on as a member of the Queen of Evil's lesbian harem in return for eternal youth, and now Francoise finds herself faced with the same decision. With a mood that manages to be both creepy and erotic, GIRL SLAVES delivers surprisingly good performances from a cast of luscious European sirens.
