Camden College, a haven for bored children of wealthy parents. The rich kids would rather spend their time there debauchery of any kind than attending classes. Excess follows excess, they know no rules. In the midst of an unraveling web of parties, sex, drugs and unrequited love, occasional dealers, serial lady killers and Patrick Bateman's little brother Sean, his supposed queen of hearts and still-virgin Lauren and the homosexual cynic Paul Denton move.
THE RULES OF ATTRACTION is a ruthless and breathless trip into a microcosm in which abnormally attractive people in the fast lane of life are so wild (with each other) that they soon can't move at all. In what appears to be a paradise of sex, drugs and partying, they all have to learn the hard way how tragic and meaningless life without rules is. Directed by Roger Avary (KIL-LING ZOE, Oscar® 1994 for Best Original Screenplay for PULP FICTION), this maze-like storytelling, congenial film adaptation of the satirically evil novel by cult American Psycho author Bret Easton Ellis was created.
