My name is Marc and in October 2003 I opened Orbit DVD as a video rental store in Asheville, NC. About 10 years ago I saw the writing on the wall and began to change our focus dramatically. We still rent, but as those numbers shrank I began to stuff Orbit with everything that I love: boutique blu-ray companies, video games, weird toys, books, collectibles and much more. This website is just a glimpse of what our store is, a true anomaly in the world. I wish for this site to be an extension of me and this wonderful town I call home.
