On board an airplane, there is a bomb threat and a bloody incident with a flock of birds, as well as an encounter with an unidentified flying object. The airplane then has to make an emergency landing in a deserted area and the survivors are soon confronted with a new threat. The
UFO contains an extraterrestrial parasite creature that, through a crack in its forehead, takes possession of a contract killer on board who is now out for the blood of the others. Only the cooperation of all survivors could mean salvation, but although the rational co-pilot tries everything, the egoism and unscrupulousness of individuals leads them down a path to ruin.
In his successful science fiction film, supported by moments of horror, director Hajime Satô paints a pessimistic picture of humanity and presents nothing less than the last hours of humanity, whose time seems to have run out after wars and violence.
