Synopsis

Ricardo Montalbán (Sweet Charity, Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan), Ariadne Welter (The Panther Women), and Jorge Martínez de Hoyos (The Magnificent Seven) star in Untouched (Sombra verde), a strange and exotic romantic adventure set at the edge of civilisation.

Scientist Federico (Montalbán) is tasked with taking a journey into the jungle to search for a rare medicinal root. When he becomes desperately lost, he is rescued by a farmer, and soon begins a torrid affair with the farmer's beautiful daughter, Yáscara (Welter).

Directed by Roberto Gavaldón (Macario), co-written by Luis Buñuel’s regular screenwriter Luis Alcoriza (Los olvidados, The Exterminating Angel), and shot almost entirely on location, Untouched is finally available – fully uncut and uncensored – on Blu-ray for the first time anywhere in the world.
