Ole Olsen and Chic Johnson want to help their friend Jeff make his newly written, sentimental revue a success so that he can finally afford to marry his rich girlfriend Kitty. But does Kitty have a relationship with Pepi? Then the revue cannot be a success, and so Olsen and Johnson do everything to ensure that everything that can go wrong goes wrong.
But such comedy develops that a Broadway producer is determined to take it. And of course Kitty doesn't have a relationship with Pepi. She will also not marry Jeff's best friend Woody, as her parents wanted. And of course nothing is what it seems. Because the revue is just part of a film that isn't actually a real film, but could be one if it were ever made. Did you understand any of this or are you completely confused now? No matter, one of the funniest movies of all time will grab you, because all hell is going on in hell!
