Michael Boll (James Spader) has everything you could dream of: a well-paying job, bright career prospects and a lovely fiancée from a good family. The only problem is his assertiveness. That changes when he meets Alex (Rob Lowe). With his dazzling charm and excessive lifestyle, he draws the well-adjusted yuppie into a circle full of dangers.
